How can I enroll in FirstCare Medical Plan?

Does everyone in my family need an individual card?
No. One card can be used by all family members.
Can I use this card to get discounts on my pet’s medications?
Yes. If your pet has been prescribed a medication that is also used to treat common human conditions, you may be able to get a discount on the medication.
Can I find out the discounted price of my medication before going to the pharmacy?
Yes. You can use the Rx Pricing tool to look up estimated medication costs. However, only the pharmacy can tell you the exact price of the medication.
Where can I find a list of pharmacies that accept {enter program name}?
FirstCare Medical Plan is accepted at more than 65,000 pharmacies nationwide.** Use the Pharmacy Locator tool to find a list of participating pharmacies in the United States.
How much will I save with FirstCare Medical Plan?
While savings on each medication may vary, with FirstCare Medical Plan, you can save up to 40%* on generics and up to 40%† on brand-name medications, compared to the pharmacy’s retail prices for cash paying customers.
Can I use FirstCare Medical Plan to get discounts on over-the-counter (OTC) products and non-prescription medications?
Yes. Discounts are available on OTC products with a doctor’s written prescription. Discounts are also available for many diabetes supplies.

EXISTING DRUG COVERAGE
How is FirstCare Medical Plan different from traditional prescription insurance?
This program is not insurance; it is a prescription discount program. The card provides immediate discounts at the pharmacy. Upon presenting your FirstCare Medical Plan card to the pharmacist, a discount is taken off the retail price of the medication for cash paying customers. These discounts are available through a nationwide network of more than 65,000 participating pharmacies.**
Can I use my FirstCare Medical Plan card with my current insurance benefit to reduce my costs?
No. FirstCare Medical Plan cannot be used in conjunction with other insurance. However, you are able to use your FirstCare Medical Plan card to purchase medication that is not covered by these plans.
